Movr is Austin's moving platform. In their words: "We don't drive the truck. We run the move." You book once, see the price up front, and a vetted, insured local moving company shows up while you track the crew from your phone.
That's a hard product to film. Everything Movr does happens on a phone, and a phone screen doesn't make anyone feel anything. A typical moving ad, with a truck and a smiling crew, would sell the movers. Movr needed people to understand the platform running the move.
We wrote the script around the customer, not the app. The first line names what goes wrong when you hire movers: "The price goes up, the truck's late, and you're the one managing all of it." The rest of the script answers those problems one at a time.
Then we shot it as one move, start to finish: the stress at the kitchen table, packing, the tap to book, the truck pulling up, the crew at the door, and the last piece carried out. The app is on screen for about five seconds. The other twenty-five show what moving day feels like when someone else is running it.
The movers on camera are the real Fast Fietz Moving + Storage crew. And the edit lands picture and words together: "You know who's coming before they knock" plays as the crew arrives at the door.
The 30-second ad is one piece of the package we built around Movr's launch. The centerpiece is the founder-focused launch film, a founder-led hero film anchoring the brand launch. We also made social media assets, mover recruitment videos, and sales videos.
