We’re excited to share the three finalists selected for our Austin nonprofit video giveaway. These organizations were nominated by the community for the meaningful work they’re doing across Central Texas.
One of the best parts of running StoryChef Media is getting to spotlight organizations that are doing real, meaningful work in our community. After reviewing community nominations, we’re excited to share the three finalists selected for our Austin nonprofit video giveaway.
Each of these nonprofits was nominated because of the impact they’re making across Central Texas—and the lives they’re changing every day.
The Finalists
Open My World
Open My World creates inclusive opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to build life skills, confidence, and independence. Their work centers on dignity, connection, and helping people feel truly part of their community.
Recovery Outside
Recovery Outside supports individuals in addiction recovery through outdoor experiences that build resilience, accountability, and community. By combining movement and nature, they help people find stability, confidence, and purpose beyond traditional recovery settings.
Louder Than Silence
Louder Than Silence empowers survivors of sexual violence through advocacy, education, and survivor-led support. Their mission focuses on healing, awareness, and giving people the space and strength to reclaim their voice.
What the Selected Nonprofit Will Receive
The organization chosen through community voting will receive a strategic storytelling partnership valued at over $10,000. This isn’t just a video—it’s a full storytelling foundation designed to support real outcomes, including:
A deep-dive process to clarify their core message and identify the single most powerful story to drive action
A professionally produced film designed to emotionally connect and serve as the centerpiece of their next campaign
A clear roadmap to ensure the story reaches the right people at the right time to support their goals
What’s Next
